Ms. Ashley has 29 years of dance training. She has dance training in the following genres: ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, lyrical, modern, and acrobatics/tumbling. She has taught dance for 14 years total. She graduated from Mercer County Performing Arts High School, Mercer County Community College with an Associates in Dance, from Richard Stockton College of NJ with a Bachelor’s in Dance with concentration in arts administration/education, and The College of New Jersey with a Master’s in Early Childhood Education with a NJ preschool-grade 3 certification, and New York University with a Post Master’s Advanced Certificate in Dance Education and has a New York State K-12 dance certification. During undergrad years, she was a member of Mercer Dance Ensemble, Stockton Dance Company, and Stockton All Starz Dance Team. She has experiences in teaching dance in elementary schools and dance studio setting. Additionally, she still takes dance classes to continue her dance training. Ms. Ashley is excited about teaching at Evolution Dance and Performing Arts Academy.
